Creative Artists Agency has hired A&E VP of Development Scott Lonker as an agent for their alternative TV department (New York division).
The move comes a surprise to some given that Lonker used to be a William Morris Endeavor agent, and is known as a good friend of Jon Rosen, who runs WME's East Coast TV. A start date for the new position is yet to be confirmed.
